About IDSSC

Founded in 2010, the International Diving Safety Standards Commission (IDSSC) is dedicated to supporting the implementation of national and international diving standards and regulations. Currently, its headquarters are located in Argentina

Mission

Our mission is to support divers, professionals and companies free of charge by recommending the latest standards and procedures for safe diving.
Stored in our database, all reports received about diving problems that occurred in different parts of the world.
Find solutions to the problems associated with diving, depending on the location and condition of underwater operations. Report to the organizations in charge of the control and enforcement of diving regulations, any anomaly detected that may endanger the integrity of divers and the environment.
Mantain the philosophy that every diver is a person with a high human value and not a number with high level of trade.

Objetives

The IDSSC is dedicated to supporting, proposing supplementation and recommending the application of diving standards and regulations created by the world’s best organizations and adopted by different international companies. In many cases, the commission has added criteria necessary to adapt the standards to more demanding diving conditions according to the reality of certain regions. The objectives of IDSSC by supporting and recommending the highest national and international standards are:

-Care for the integrity of the diver and work equipment.
-To maintain low levels of operational insecurity.
-To optimize diver resources.
-To make known the most complete diving standards.
-To provide reference in those countries where there are no National Standards.
-To support the national standards of governments and to be able to contribute if requested.

IDSSC is a worldwide membership organization restricted to individuals, dive schools, companies and diver training agencies that accept the most modern and comprehensive dive standards and procedures recommended by IDSSC.
